About Kizaki

Kizaki Corporation is a software company based in Los Angeles, California. We build two things: the Kizaki workspace, a collaborative, local-first environment for microapps with two surfaces — Platform, for the internal tools and portals an organization runs on, and Notebook, for everyday thinking alongside live data — and Seaglass, the open-source data engine underneath it.

We started Kizaki because some work depends on personal judgment, and personal judgment can't be outsourced to a vendor. We think the answer is software you own and operate: workflows that run on your machine, adapt to how you decide, and stay legible and yours — we call this personally authored computing. The workspace, the engine, and the company exist to make that ordinary.
